Project Portfolio

Bay Area Tech Firm - Sunnyvale, California

Size: ~200,000 SF

Timeline: October 2017 – April 2019 (Estimated)

After conducting feasibility studies and optimizing a budget for a DIRTT solution, we provided full design-assist services to create a solution that went above and beyond, resulting in a DIRTT set of drawings for submission to the architect.

The project included freestanding conference room clusters, DIRTT Timber freestanding canopies and custom elements like wide flange steel canopies and customized, reclaimed wood doors, spread over five floors across two buildings. We also provided a portion of the glazed doors, frames & hardware package, which exemplifies our Vantis philosophy, to integrate multiple off-site construction solutions.

Medical Facility - San Francisco, CAlifornia

Size: 153,620 SF

Timeline: July 2017 – January 2019

This project is a seven-story core and shell structure in downtown San Francisco. Vantis works with various trade partners to provide design assist services including development of permit drawings and structural engineering for seismic bracing of walls.

We’re also building DIRTT solution materials that represent roughly 95% of the non-rated walls on six levels. We’re creating new tools for DIRTT’s proprietary ICE software to create the design and fabrication of new 6” diameter plumbing and media walls. The project includes extensive use of DIRTT millwork, integrated digital artwork, and specialty glass and laser-cut steel partitions in public areas.

Tech firm- DRAPER, UTAH

Size: +/- 30,000 SF

Timeline: November 2017 – May 2018

Vantis worked directly with the customer to build pre-fabricated interior wall systems throughout their locations nationwide. This project is a refresh to an existing 30,000 SF occupied building.

We provided modular pods of offices, meeting rooms, huddles and phone booths. We also work cohesively with AP+I to integrate the customer design standards with custom finishes to satisfy the overall design intent. We successfully delivered the project on time and with minimal change orders, punch lists, and a compressed general construction schedule – all while maintaining the aesthetic value and design consistency throughout the project as a whole.

Bay Area Tech Firm- Santa Clara, CAlifornia

Size: 520,000 SF

Timeline: May 2014 – June 2017

This is a two Floor Project, completed in partnership with Gensler Architecture. The design goal was to create an innovative planned space which would showcase the most visually attractive building technology and inclusive functionality.

Our team did extensive amounts of research and planning to ensure our construction did not infringe on the needs of other trades at work in the building.  Each floor was laid out with a large central room, surrounded by work stations, with a cluster layout of libraries and phone rooms utilizing DIRTT materials. Other building features include a technologically advanced sound seal ceiling and walls fully integrated with power and data capability.
